WE ARE PARABLE’S groundbreaking development programme
In 2026/27 I was hired to be the programme manager to create a new iteration of their fourth edition of Momentum, a 9 month long development programme for 30 uk based Black Filmmakers and Content Creators.
Applications numbered over 700 and we had 4 readers to make the long-list selection anonymising all the applications. The final 30 were selected by the directors of We Are Parable.
The programme comprises masterclasses, roundtable meetings and well being sessions as well as one-to-one mentoring throughout the programme.
Not project based, but people centred, the aim is to give everyone a lift to the next step on their journey in filmmaking - wherevert they currently are at.
